"The object of the association shall be to promote and improved the breed of Irish Setters; to instruct its members in all matters pertaining to Irish Setters; and to promote and support all activities relating to the breed of Irish Setters."

EISA Constitution, Article II

Since its inception in 1937, Eastern Irish setter Association, EISA, has been dedicated to these objectives. The founding members of EISA played an important role in the development of the Irish Setter in the United States. Our current members strive to continue their legacy.

As a club, EISA offers the opportunity to participate in many different Irish Setter related activities, as you will discover throughout these pages. With our diversified membership, there are many opportunities to meet others involved in your favorite interest or to learn and explore new activities with the encouragement and support of friends who share a common bond.
