Drawing since very early childhood, an art career was always my goal, so I enrolled at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh where I graduated with an Associates Degree in Visual Arts in 1982.

After working for 9 months as a staff illustrator for a t-shirt company in Wilmington, Delaware, I became a freelance illustrator, with clients ranging from TV Guide to the NHL to KISS. I also worked as an illustrator for a graphics company called Old Stone Graphics for 4 years and taught a semester of airbrush at the University of Delaware.

All of my paintings are done with acrylics, mostly on canvas boards which I gesso to add texture to the piece. I try to capture a moment in time in my work, so my camera is always with me, looking for that next painting.

My work has been shown in many solo and juried group shows in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey and hangs in many private collections.
